When I was a kid I had this book called "Country Mouse City Mouse". I bet you can guess the gist of it. Well, this last weekend, Country Mouse went to visit City Mouse. My brother got married. So, I got to pack up the family and head for the Big Apple.

We shipped the yearlings this week. Shipping day for stocker people like us, is what I imagine weaning is like for cow-calf folks. Jeremy and I just celebrated our third wedding anniversary on September 1, and we spent the day driving back from a horse show. I was thinking that three years doesn’t really give credit to all the challenges we’ve conquered and the fun times we’ve enjoyed.
